Kids Guitar Club
We're delighted to be launching our Guitar Club for ages 7-11 (school years 4-6) in January '24. This group session will run at 5pm on Tuesdays at St Werburghs Community Centre during the school term. These sessions will be run by Sean, a teacher with 15 years experience and an enhanced DBS certificate.
*Usually this course will run for 6 weeks, but with the way the dates fall, January will be 5 weeks and has been priced accordingly.
Beginners guitar lessons in a supportive, fun environment
This new course is aimed at children completely new to the instrument and will start at the very beginning.
Over the 5 weeks we will cover:
- tuning the guitar
- the open strings and note names
- an introduction to melodies, scales and chords
- fun songs of increasing difficulty
- how to practise effectively
- how to play as part of a group
The 5-week course costs £82.50
Each session is 40 minutes long and is limited to 6 students.
This works out as £16.50 per 40-minute session.
The dates for the coming term will be January 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th and February 6th.
You will need to bring your own guitar to these sessions.
